We’ll wind our way up the dramatic Takaka Hill (also known as Marble Mountain), stopping at the stunning <\/span>*Ngarua Caves*<\/b>. Explore these beautifully lit limestone caverns filled with impressive stalactites, stalagmites, and even ancient moa bones \u2013 a fascinating underground world high above the surrounding landscapes.<\/span><\/p>\n Descending into Golden Bay, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a relaxed lunch option: either try your hand at <\/span>*catch-your-own salmon fishing*<\/b> at the popular Anatoki Salmon farm (where you can have your fresh catch prepared for you), or savour wholesome, seasonal fare at the iconic <\/span>*Wholemeal Cafe*<\/b> in Takaka town. <\/span><\/p>\n In the afternoon, enjoy a gentle short walk on the easy boardwalk to <\/span>*Te Waikoropupu Springs*<\/b> (Pupu Springs) \u2013 New Zealand’s largest and clearest freshwater springs, with some of the purest water in the southern hemisphere.
