Excellent day out CJ was an excellent host. We only found out about the tour 15 minutes before it was due to start. CJ quickly accommodated us and took my mum and me on a great tour of three wineries all while chatting about wine, hops, the local area and everything else. When we thought better of a fourth winery (already had quite a few 😂) CJ took us to a small shop for a cheese tasting and the on to Pics Peanut Butter world for a tasting too. Then he dropped us off at our accommodation. We thoroughly enjoyed the day, tasting the regions’ wines and speaking to the winery staff. 100% recommend this tour!

Fun relaxing day for two We had a lovely relaxing day out with CJ. He took us to a few vineyards for tastings, lunch at New Zealand’s oldest pub, and Mapua Wharf. We found it both educational and fun, chatting to the local wine experts. We even bought a couple of wines from wineries we hadn’t tried before and quite a few ciders. Can’t say enough good things about our day, would definitely do this again.

Best of two worlds tour in Nelson with CJ We have just had such a great day of wine and beer tasting in Nelson with CJ and Nelson Tours. The day was just so enjoyable and CJ had lots of interesting stories to tell us. The 3 wineries he chose for us to visit all had interesting and complex wines and we enjoyed all of them. For our lunch time treat, CJ took us to the oldest pub in NZ where we enjoyed a delicious lunch accompanied with local craft beer. A highlight was being taken under the net beside two rows of very ripe Pinot noir grapes. That was such a neat experience. I would recommend this tour with CJ as the guide to anyone visiting Nelson.

Best of Both Worlds - really enjoyed Did the best of both worlds tour with CJ and 2 other couples. Really well organised from start to finish with AC minibus bringing us to 4 wineries around Nelson. Very much enjoyed the tour with CJ providing good information on the way - would recommend to those looking for a chill day-out with some great wineries along the way!!

Don't miss it We went on the half day Nelson Wine Tour and we were very much not disapointed. Had a bit of luck so it was only us two and the guide/driver. Wine: Tasted about 22 wines, all of them really good and we bought a bottle of 13 of them. Tasting in a very relaxed and casual way. Guide: Knowledgeable and nice. Made our journey something special. Lunch: In the middle we got the chance to buy some lunch in one of the wineyards. Really good locally produced products. Excellent. Klas and Annika from Sweden

Fabulous, informal wine tour! CJ is a nice guy who arrived on time to collect us. He chatted casually during the drive to pick up the other 4 guests and gave us all a run down of the plan for our day. We visited four different vineyards, enjoying tastings in all. The tastings were ran by the staff at the vineyards. All good fun and interesting stuff. The lunch at the third winery was also very nice (not included in the tour price.) Would definitely recommend this tour as you get to see a range of unique wineries.

Great way to see Marlborough We had one day in Nelson/Marlborough and really wanted a specialized wine tour of the region. We connected with CJ and had a very good experience. We enjoyed a scenic drive to Marlborough where CJ shared a lot of his knowledge with us. Once in Marlborough we visited 4 great wineries and had an awesome lunch. CJ knows the area and the people very well which enabled us to have a unique experience at each winery. I highly recommend a day with CJ. I hope to be back again some day.

Best of Both Worlds Tour We did the ‘Best of Both Worlds’ tour and absolutely loved it. CJ was a fantastic host and showed us around to some beautiful wineries as well as breweries. He also took a detour where we visited some stores selling local produce, we were able to purchase some delicious chocolate and have a taste of the highly recommended ice cream. Thank you CJ for showing us the sights of Nelson, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
